Glen Haven Restaurant and Bar

Historical accounts spell this lake name “Glen Haven,” in two words. The Deep Creek centennial history identifies Glen Lyons as the original owner of Glen Haven Restaurant and Bar and records later associations with John Luke and Joyce Cornish.

The property’s story overlaps the Pizza Pub and the site later associated with UNO’s and Honi-Honi. Glen Haven is therefore part of the evolution of a familiar lakeside dining destination rather than an entirely unrelated stop.

The records are more secure about the names and place than the sequence of ownership changes. This draft deliberately leaves out conflicting sale and opening dates. The sandwich’s one-word spelling is retained from the official menu, while the historic business is described using the spelling found in the sources.
